Death of Dara

During the second battle, after traitorously killing their shah Dara, the Iranian army leaders hurry to Iskandar for their reward. Iskandar orders to capture the traitors, and himself hurries to the dying sovereign. Iskandar’s conversation with dying Dara is one of the dramatic and impressive parts of the poem.
